As a brand ambassador, you may have access to proprietary information, trade secrets, or sensitive data shared by the company. It is essential that you maintain the confidentiality of such information and refrain from disclosing it to any third parties.

Role

The role of an on-campus brand ambassador for our e-commerce brand, Coconaüts, is to promote and represent the brand's values on their own college campus, or other colleges nearby. As a brand ambassador, you are volunteering to increase brand awareness, while engaging with students, faculty, staff, and your social network. As a side effect, for any product sales driven through you, you will be receiving a commission out of the profits on the sales, after accounting for taxes.

Responsibilities

As an Ambassador, your primary responsibility is to represent the brand's values, vision and products. Which can be expressed through various avenues, like:
  1. Actively promoting our e-commerce brand on your (and nearby) college campus through various channels such as social media, word-of-mouth, and events.
  2. Engage with the Community: Organise & Attend campus events, clubs, and organizations to spread awareness about our brand and products.
  3. Provide Feedback: Share insights, suggestions, and feedback from your college community to help us improve our marketing strategies and product offerings.
  4. Increase your green influence: One of our core vision and goal is to increase the green impact, by committing to plant trees through our products, services and events. We'll be tracking the number of trees planted through your influence. You'll be rewarded on achieving tree count milestones.
  5. (Optional) Drive Sales: We believe, at campus, your primary focus has to be your college activities. However, if you are a good influencer, who can influence purchase decision of their peers to make purchases, we encourage you to excercise that skill. In such case, you'll be receiving a unique coupon code, to claim a commission out of the profits on the sales, after accounting for taxes

Suggested Activities

  • Volunteer in our online events, or offline events in your locality
  • Planning events and building a presence at events: Sporting events, parties, live-streams, gaming nights, hiking events etc.
  • Posting on Social media to grow the community
  • Grow our campus presence, by inviting more ambassadors. We encourage building a tribe of 3-7, to have maximum impact.
  • Providing feedback on products and services
  • Attend Bi-Weekly virtual/physical meetings for reporting, planning and feedback
  • Make your own suggestion, we'll provide you the team and resources to conduct the activity.

Compensation & Benefits

  • A free merchandise from our store, within first 7 weeks of joining as on-Campus Ambassador
    • You can claim sooner, if you already have either of the following:
      • An active and influential social media account. Please share your SM handle, to see if you qualify.
      • If you organize an event and achieve a target of 77 Trees planted through the event.
  • Paid-volunteer oportunities for monthly events
  • Free samples of new releases of merchandise
  • Free samples, when you reach Tree milestones of your green influence.
    • Highest level, if you end up planting a large number of trees. This is a challenge you can pick, and complete in a given time frame. The goal has to be more than 100K Trees, and approved by the Company
  • Cash/Movie/Outing ticket rewards
  • Resources/funds for event planning - e.g. game nights
  • Affiliate commissions from sales
  • Build and grow your influencing skills
  • Opportunity to convert to internships - Exclusive Model, Marketing, Sales, S/W development, Regional sales lead in the choice of city, Traveloguer, Graphics Design, Content Creator, Digital Marketing, Product Tester, Voice Artist.
In addition to affiliate commission, there will be opportunities for performance-based incentives or bonuses, which will be communicated to you separately.
The compensation for on-campus brand ambassadors is primarily based on affiliate commission. You will earn a percentage of the sales generated through your unique affiliate link or discount code. The more sales you drive, the higher your commission will be.
For the candidates, who have prior experience, we will offer a base monthly amount (negotiable on a case-to-case basis).
Please note that the exact commission structure and rates will be provided to you upon acceptance of the brand ambassador position.
